Membership Manager
Position Title: Part-Time Membership Manager
Reports to: Director, Funder Hui
Location: Remote (Hawai‘i-based preferred)
Hours: 15–20 hours/week
Compensation: $30–$45/hour, commensurate with experience
Start Date: Flexible, ideally Summer 2025

Position Summary
Funder Hui seeks a highly organized and tech-savvy Membership Manager to lead the development and management of our membership database and CRM infrastructure. This part-time role is essential to strengthening member engagement, streamlining communications, and supporting our growing statewide network of philanthropic partners.
Key Responsibilities
MonkeyPod CRM Development & Data Management (60%)
Oversee the setup, customization, and ongoing management of Funder Hui’s MonkeyPod CRM system.
Input, clean, and organize member data including contact details, organizational affiliations, event participation, and giving history.
Create and maintain systems within MonkeyPod for tracking engagement and touchpoints with members and prospective members.
Develop and generate regular CRM reports and dashboards to inform organizational strategy and operations.
Ensure smooth integration of MonkeyPod with communication and marketing tools (e.g., email campaigns, event platforms).
Membership Engagement & Support (25%)
Serve as the primary point of contact for membership inquiries and support.
Maintain and update membership onboarding workflows within MonkeyPod.
Coordinate communications with members, including renewal reminders, event invitations, mailing list subscriptions, and updates on network activity.
Assist in the coordination of member feedback efforts such as surveys and annual interviews.
Provide administrative support for member-only calls through notetaking, follow-up coordination, and communication with the Director.
Coordinate and track grants management processes, including application submissions, interim and final reports, donor communications, and status updates.
Support newsletter creation and distribution to promote events and share updates.
Collaboration & Administration (15%)
Work closely with the Director and Programs team to ensure the CRM aligns with organizational goals.
Support administrative tasks related to member engagement, including event registration and attendance tracking.
Maintain documentation for membership systems, processes, and protocols.
Track and maintain internal progress reports capturing metrics across all Funder Hui offerings, member engagement, and key program statistics.
Lead the planning and execution of Funder Hui’s annual report, including gathering quotes from members, tracking organizational milestones, and supporting design and content development.
Provide event support, including promotion in newsletters and internal communications, calendar invites, post-event feedback forms, recap emails, and adding attendees to internal mailing lists.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience managing a CRM system, ideally in a nonprofit or membership-based setting.
Experience with MonkeyPod CRM or ability to learn and master it quickly.
Strong attention to detail, data integrity, and information management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Alignment with Funder Hui’s values of trust-based philanthropy, equity, and community accountability.
Preferred
Familiarity with the philanthropic or nonprofit ecosystem in Hawai‘i.
Experience building automations, workflows, or reports within MonkeyPod.
Comfort working in a small, remote team environment.
