Statewide Disaster Philanthropy Network Launched by Funder Hui
Maui Now · August 6, 2026
A look at the launch of the Hawaiʻi Resilience & Recovery Funder Collaborative and its shared approach to coordinated disaster philanthropy across Hawaiʻi.
The Hawaiʻi Funding Project (HFP)
The Hawaiʻi Funding Project (HFP) was created in response to last year's federal funding disruptions to help make sense of how public money moves into and across Hawaiʻi. Public funding data is available but often inaccessible: scattered across sources and difficult to work with. HFP consolidates this data into one clear view, to promote shared understanding, inclusive deliberation, and informed decision-making for Hawaiʻi's future.
